What is the Ayurvedic Yoga Approach Course about?

Yoga and Ayurveda are excellent methods to balance the mind and body. The Ayurvedic yoga approach, also known as AyurYoga, creates a holistic wellness plan based on an individual's unique constitution (dosha). It's an ancient-meets-modern approach that emphasizes flexible, powerful, and mental health, and ayurveda emphasizes diet and lifestyle changes for physical well-being.

Key Principles:

  1. Personalization. An individual approach is not one-size-fits-all. It takes into account person’s physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as your lifestyle and environment.

  2. Dosha-based recommendations. There are three primary energies identified by Ayurveda: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Using person’s dominant dosha, Ayurvedic yoga suggests practices that balance it.

  3. Holistic approach. Integrating yoga postures and breathing exercises with Ayurvedic principles for diet, lifestyle, and mental health, this system approaches the whole person.

  4. Balance through opposites. A core principle is using qualities that are opposite to the imbalance to restore equilibrium.

What to expect:

  •  A tailored practice. Asanas (poses) and breathing techniques (pranayama) are all part of an Ayurvedic yoga program.

  • Lifestyle and diet guidance. Yoga mat recommendations may extend beyond dietary recommendations and daily habits that support person’s own constitution.

  • Preventive and therapeutic benefits. As a part of the treatment plan, symptoms are not only managed, but a state of overall wellness is promoted and unbalances are prevented from developing.

The curriculum of Ayurvedic Beauty Treatment Course includes:

  1. Examining the foundations of yoga and philosophy through traditional yoga literature and the spiritual basis of yoga practice.

  2. Therapeutic applications of yoga with an emphasis on its clinical and psychological dimensions.

  3. Various methods of meditation to cultivate mental clarity and inner awareness.
  4. Practical understanding of bandhas and mudras that improve focus and energy flow.

  5. Methodical instruction in both theory and practice, including breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and posture correction.

You will learn through practice that Ayurveda and yoga are believed to work well together, each enhancing health in their own way. The course can be used as a stepping stone to studying Ayurveda or other holistic healing practices that offer advanced certification and specialization opportunities.
