About the Course
Ayurveda recognizes the unique requirements of women during their family years, as well as those of their infants. It is aware that women can maintain their health and vitality in their role as the foundation of the family if specific lifestyle practices are followed before to, during, and following pregnancy. Above all, Ayurveda offers the means to facilitate this restoration to optimal health.
The holistic approach of Ayurveda emphasizes nutrition, gentle massage (Abhyanga), mental well-being, and specific herbal remedies for mother and child, which promote immunity, digestion, and healthy growth from pregnancy to infancy. It includes practices such as warm oil massages for babies, supportive diets for mothers, mindful breastfeeding, and herbal tonics like Brahmi to promote healthy physical and mental growth.
